On winning the game.
What a decade of building has taught me and why I’m finally ready for what comes next.
After more than a decade of building, today marks our final chapter at That Clean Life.
Two years ago, we made the decision to join Practice Better because we believed it was the right move to help That Clean Life grow beyond what we could do on our own. Our vision was to scale our impact and bring our product to more health and wellness practitioners around the world, so they could better help their clients live healthier lives.
Over the past decade, That Clean Life has supported tens of thousands of practitioners in delivering personalized, accessible nutrition care to their clients. We’ve watched our customers grow thriving practices, change lives, and make health easier to live out in everyday life. It has truly been one of the greatest privileges of our lives.
To our community of health and wellness practitioners: thank you. You trusted us with your work, your clients, and your vision for a healthier world. You challenged us to do better, to listen more closely, and to never stop improving. You inspired us every single day with the way you care, the lives you change, and the passion you bring to your practices. That Clean Life is built for you and shaped by you. Your stories, your feedback, your belief in what we are building, it all mattered more than you know. We’re so grateful to have been part of your journey and hope we will continue to be a part of it for years to come.
To our team: thank you for helping us build a product rooted in heart, care, craftsmanship, and purpose. You have always brought your whole selves to this mission, showing up with creativity, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to our customers and to one another. Every detail you crafted, every challenge you tackled, and every idea you pushed forward mattered. You helped make That Clean Life what it is today, and it has been a true honour to build this with you.
To my co-founder and husband, Christopher, thank you for being my unwavering partner through it all, for believing in us when the way was clear and when it wasn’t, for holding steady through the highs and lows, and for reminding me of what mattered most. You never lost faith in what we were building or why we started, and when I was tired, you always encouraged me to finish the game, not out of pressure, but so we could close this chapter knowing we gave it everything. I’m so proud of what we created together, and even prouder that we’ve done it side by side (and that we’re still married).
It’s hard to put into words what ten years of building, stretching, and leading does to a person. The lessons. The scars. The nights we couldn’t sleep. The mornings we woke up with a fire in our chests. The pivots. The pressure. The people. The purpose. The impact.
I’ve learned that growth is messy and nonlinear. That leadership is about influence with integrity and guiding people toward a shared purpose, not by control, but by creating conditions where others can truly thrive, rise, and feel safe.
I’ve learned that success isn’t just scale, it’s alignment, impact, and peace of mind. Because in the end, it’s not just what you build that matters, it’s how you show up, who you lift, and the kind of human you choose to be while doing it.
Naval Ravikant said, “The reason to win the game is so that you can be free of it.”
You don’t keep playing a video game after you beat the final level. You turn it off, satisfied, knowing you’ve won by reaching the end. That’s what building That Clean Life now feels like. We played it fully. We built something meaningful. And to us, we’ve won.
So for now, you’ll find me in the quiet space on the other side. We don’t know what comes next, and that’s okay. After over a decade of planning and pushing, it feels good to simply pause and see what unfolds.
This is freedom.
