"You don't become confident by shouting affirmations in the mirror, but by having a stack of undeniable proof that you are who you say you are. Outwork your self-doubt."
– Alex Hormozi
You can make all the plans. Map out the strategy. Talk it through from every angle. And while there’s nothing wrong with preparation, nothing holds a candle to the kind of confidence that comes from evidence. From doing the work, seeing it succeed, and knowing, deep down, that you did it. You have walked through the fire and come out stronger.
True confidence is built in the doing. It’s built in the days you showed up when it would’ve been easier not to. In the work no one saw, the risks you took, and the results you created. It’s in the people you served and the moments you led with integrity, even when no one was watching.
That’s your stack of undeniable proof.
And on the days when doubt creeps in, whether from others or from within, you can return to it. Open that mental (or literal) folder and remind yourself: you’ve done the work, you’ve gathered the proof, and you know who you are.
…and then you keep going.
With steadier hands, quieter confidence, and more peace of mind. Not because you need to prove anything, but because you already have.
